SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

We believe in stories. So we are always looking for good Fiction and Non-Fiction work. Submissions are always open. Please keep in mind we are a small publishing company and our response time may be longer. We respond to all submissions. Your patience is appreciated. For your work to be considered, please adhere to the following:

  1. Include your full name and email address in the top right of the page.
  2. You are welcome to send your full manuscript, but a couple of chapters will be sufficient. If there is interest beyond that, we will ask for more.
  3. Use a font that is easy to read, like Times New Roman or Calibri. No Fancy fonts, please.
  4. Send your submissions to: burkwoodpublishing@gmail.com
  5. Watermark your document. Save as a PDF and submit.

Children’s Books?

Yes, we accept children’s books.

Poetry Books?

We get this question asked often. Although we will publish poetry books, we like to see the work and consult with the author on the intent of the book before we make a final decision.

Erotica or Controversial Issues?

We are not accepting submissions currently. Check back periodically.

Horror?

We are not accepting submissions currently. Check back periodically.
